The writer Dmitry Bykov (listed as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) was put on the international wanted list, APA reports citing IZVESTIYA.
This is evidenced by the materials of his case, which RIA Novosti cites on August 12.
"On July 28, 2025, he was put on the international wanted list," the case file says.

The State Duma is preparing amendments to the draft law on the seizure of property of citizens who oppose the interests of the Russian Federation abroad.
At the end of April, the Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case against Bykov. According to the investigation, the writer is suspected of publicly spreading deliberately false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (paragraph "d" of part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code) and evading duties provided for by the legislation on foreign agents (part 2 of Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code). Later, the writer was put on the federal wanted list.
