Border checkpoints on the Russian-Estonian border continue to operate, information about the closure of the border from Russia is not reliable, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday, APA reports citing Oreanda News.
"Taking into account the dissemination of completely false information by Estonia, we consider it necessary to inform the public that border checkpoints on the Russian side continue to operate, there are no plans to close the border with Russia; our country is ready to receive as many guests as they want to come in accordance with the procedure established by law," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in response to the media question about the "collapse" at the border crossing in the Pskov region.
