The Kremlin announced on Wednesday that the Russian "nuclear deterrent forces" conducted training under the supervision of President Vladimir Putin, APA reports citing Teletrader.
"The Yars intercontinental ballistic missile was launched from the Plesetsk state test cosmodrome at the Kura test site in Kamchatka. The Sineva ballistic missile was launched from the Barents Sea from the strategic nuclear-powered missile submarine cruiser Tula. Also involved in the training were Tu-95MS long-range aviation aircraft, which launched air-launched cruise missiles," the Kremlin specified.
The goals of the drills have been completely met, according to Moscow.
