Russia has extended the full ban on exports of gasoline, diesel fuel, and other petroleum products until January 31, 2027, the Russian government said, Sputnik reports.

According to the government's statement, the decision was made to maintain stability in the domestic fuel market and ensure reliable supplies to meet domestic demand.

It should be noted that Russia has imposed various restrictions on petroleum product exports in recent months amid fuel shortages in a number of regions. The measures are said to be aimed at preventing price increases in the domestic market.
