Russia is expecting the United States to inform it about the results of talks held in Berlin on resolving the Ukraine conflict, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow and Washington are not currently discussing the progress of the Berlin talks.
Peskov described making forecasts about a possible timeline for resolving the Ukraine conflict as an ungrateful task.
He emphasized that Moscow remains open to peace but is not open to tricks involving temporary pauses in the conflict.
The Kremlin spokesman added that Moscow does not want to conduct the negotiation process in a “megaphone format.”
