The Russian Federation has evacuated another 175 of its citizens from Iran’s Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant via Armenia, the Russian Embassy in Armenia said in a statement, Armenpress reports.
“On April 6, another 175 Russian citizens evacuated from the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant arrived in Armenia from Iran via the Norduz-Agarak border crossing and departed from Yerevan to Moscow on a special flight,” the statement said.
The embassy expressed gratitude to the Armenian authorities for supporting the process.
The statement also noted that since the start of the war in Iran, a total of 509 citizens have returned to Russia via Armenian territory.
