Russia shot down 754 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles of Ukraine over the past 24 hours, APA’s Moscow bureau reports, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense.
This figure is considered a record for the number of drones shot down in a single day during the special military operation (Ukraine war – ed.).
It was noted that previously, in May 2025, Russia had announced the downing of 524 Ukrainian UAVs within one day.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that it carried out strikes on energy infrastructure facilities supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as training and launch sites for Ukrainian attack drones.
