Russia is extremely dissatisfied with the adoption of the UN Security Council resolution on the Middle East conflict, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
She emphasized that Iran has the right to self-defense.
Note that on March 11, the UN Security Council adopted Bahrain’s resolution on the Middle East. During the vote, Russia and China abstained.
The document strongly condemns the Islamic Republic of Iran’s explicit attacks on the territories of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Jordan. The resolution does not mention the United States or Israel.
