Russia detains hospital chief after death of nine newborns in Novokuznetsk

In Russia, the chief physician of the Novokuznetsk hospital, where nine infants died, as well as the head of the intensive care unit for newborn and premature babies, have been detained, APA’s Russia bureau reports, citing Investigative Committee

It should be noted that during the New Year holidays, nine newborn babies died at a maternity hospital in the city of Novokuznetsk, Kemerovo Region, Russia. According to reports, at the time of the incident, the hospital was under quarantine due to a stationary respiratory infection.
