Russia is closely cooperating with Azerbaijan in the fight against terrorism, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said at today’s briefing, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
She noted that Russia maintains close cooperation with South Caucasus countries in the field of counter-terrorism, both bilaterally and within international organizations.
"A legal framework has been established for this cooperation. A relevant communication channel exists between the law enforcement and special services of our countries. We are strengthening our efforts in the anti-terrorism field," emphasized the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson.
