The Russian Defense Ministry said Friday that Ukraine has lost more than 43,000 soldiers since the beginning of the counteroffensive, APA reports citing Tele Trader.
"Since the beginning of the... counteroffensive during June and July, the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the course of combat operations have already amounted to more than 43,000 servicemen," the release said.
Moreover, the ministry explained that this figure does not include wounded, evacuated soldiers to Ukrainian and foreign hospitals, "foreign mercenaries," or servicemen killed due to precision weapons strikes in remote areas.
