Last night, Russia launched ballistic missile strikes on Ukraine, APA reports citing Unian.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia carried out strikes overnight on Ukrainian territories using 14 "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles. The attacks targeted the Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
It was also noted that during the night, Russia carried out attacks using 250 strike drones and various types of aerial vehicles. The main direction of the attack was the city of Kyiv.
Ukrainian forces took measures to counter the air assault. Air defense units intercepted 6 “Iskander-M/KN-23” ballistic missiles (Kyiv) in the eastern, northern, southern, and central parts of the country, and neutralized 245 “Shahed”-type drones.
As a result of an attack carried out by the Russian Army using kamikaze-type unmanned aerial vehicles, a 54-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman were injured in the Brovary district of Kyiv region.
"Both individuals sustained shrapnel wounds to the thigh area. The injured were taken to a local hospital and are receiving all necessary medical assistance. A private residential house and a car were damaged in the attack," the report stated.
