The Russian orbital station is expected to be fully operational by 2032, Roscosmos Director General Yuri Borisov said Friday at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin, APA reports citing Teletrader.
"'From 2024, we should start full-scale works on the development of the Russian orbital station, complete the main works by 2030, and complete the station by 2032," Borisov said.
According to the head of the agency, the efficiency of the station will be significantly better than that of the Russian segment of the International Space Station (ISS), although the cost will be higher.
