"A strike on the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran could result in a disaster comparable to Chernobyl," said Rosatom Director General Alexey Likhachev, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
He noted that some Russian specialists have already been evacuated from the plant, though the state corporation still considers it feasible for part of its personnel to remain.
Likhachev added that Rosatom is calling on Israeli authorities to refrain from any actions that could signal an intent to strike the Bushehr facility.
