Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, said Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
“We will soon update you on the results of the phone talks with Iran’s President Pezeshkian. The situation in the region is extremely tense. The President continues his efforts to reduce tensions. This assistance is not only for Iran but for the entire region, for regional stability and peace. Russia, including through the President’s efforts, continues to provide support to reduce tensions,” the Kremlin spokesperson emphasized.
Note that today, Russian President Vladimir Putin also held a phone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
