Russia is ready to consider ensuring the security of elections in Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during his year-end press conference, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
He stated that Russia is prepared to refrain from carrying out strikes deep into Ukrainian territory during the election period in order to ensure security.
“However, if elections are held, we demand that voting be organized on Russian territory for Ukrainians living in Russia,” the Russian president said.
Putin reiterated that Russia is ready to abstain from strikes deep inside Ukrainian territory during the elections.
