The “Oreshnik” system can be equipped with nuclear warheads, Russian President Vladimir Putin said, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, Russia continues to improve the accuracy of the non-nuclear version of the “Kinzhal” system.
The Russian President noted that work on the “Poseidon” and “Burevestnik” systems is in its final stage.
Putin, describing the “Sarmat” as the world’s most powerful missile system, stressed that its total warhead capacity is four times greater than that of any similar system.
He added that the range of the “Sarmat” exceeds 35,000 kilometers thanks to its suborbital trajectory, and its accuracy has been doubled.
