Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his condolences to President Emomali Rahmon over the death of a Tajik boy at a school in the Moscow region, APA's Russian bureau reports.
Putin, during a bilateral meeting with the Tajik leader on the sidelines of an informal summit of CIS leaders in St. Petersburg, promised that those responsible for the crime would be punished.
"First of all, I would like to express my deepest condolences to you and the family of the Tajik boy who died a few days ago. Terrorist attacks against children are a particularly terrible crime, and there is no doubt that the investigation will be carried out to the end, and those responsible will definitely be fully punished. I repeat, I am simply shocked by this crime. As I have already said, such crimes are generally unthinkable, but such terrorist attacks, especially when committed against children, evoke deep feelings. Please convey my most sincere condolences to the family of the deceased boy," the Russian president emphasized.
