Russian President Vladimir Putin noted the importance of cooperation between Russian and Tajik regions as it helps develop bilateral relations, APA reports citing TASS.
He made the statement at a meeting with Tajik President Emomali Rakhmon on Tuesday.
"We also attach great importance to interregional cooperation. Many regions of Tajikistan and constituent regions of the Russian Federation have direct relations with each other. And this makes a significant contribution to the development of our bilateral ties," Putin said.
