Russia’s President Vladimir Putin’s meeting with US President Donald Trump’s foreign envoy Steve Witkoff lasted more than four hours, APA reports citing to Russian state media TASS and RIA Novosti.
The Kremlin has not officially confirmed that the meeting is over. However, TASS reported that the meeting began at approximately 5:40 p.m. Moscow time. It added that Russian negotiator Kirill Dmitriev returned to a hotel in the center of St. Petersburg after Putin and Witkoff held talks.
The meeting ended at 10:00 p.m. Moscow time, according to TASS.
The Kremlin said the topic of the meeting between Putin and Witkoff was aspects of the Ukrainian settlement.
