Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the permanent members of the Security Council, APA’s Moscow bureau reports, citing the Kremlin press service.
During the meeting, issues of cooperation with member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States were discussed.
At the meeting held via videoconference, Putin described CIS countries as Russia’s closest neighbors:
“These countries are our neighbors, and over decades we have developed special relations both in the humanitarian sphere and at the human level.”
