Russian President Vladimir Putin has dismissed Sergey Ivanov from his post as special representative for environmental protection, ecology and transport, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
Putin signed a decree to this effect today.
It should be noted that Ivanov worked with Putin in the State Security Committee (KGB) during the USSR. In the modern Russian Federation, Ivanov served as Secretary of the Security Council, Minister of Defense, Deputy Prime Minister, and Head of the Presidential Administration.
