Russian President Vladimir Putin has dismissed Alexander Gorovoy from his post as First Deputy Minister of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs and appointed Andrei Kurnosenko, Head of the Main Directorate for Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, to the same position. This was announced in an order posted on the official legal information portal, APA reports.
"To dismiss Colonel-General of Police Alexander Vladimirovich Gorovoy from his position as First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. To appoint Lieutenant-General of Police Andrei Anatolyevich Kurnosenko as First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, relieving him of his current position," the document states.
