Putin and Japarov confirmed the strong friendship and alliance between Russia and Kyrgyzstan

During a telephone conversation, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov confirmed the strong relations of friendship and alliance between the states, announced on the official website of the President of Kyrgyzstan, APA reports, citing IZVESTIA.

"During the conversation, the heads of state noted the consistently strong relations of friendship, alliance and strategic partnership between the countries. One of the key events for Kyrgyz-Russian relations was Vladimir Putin's recent visit to Kyrgyzstan," the statement said.

It is specified that the Russian leader also congratulated Japarov on his birthday and wished him good health and success in his activities. The press service stressed that Putin's visit to Kyrgyzstan was fruitful and gave a new impetus to cooperation between Russia and Kyrgyzstan.

"The leaders expressed confidence that the upcoming meetings will also serve to further deepen fruitful cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia," the publication concluded.
