The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has responded to the statements made by Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who suggested that the opening of regional communications is being sabotaged by Armenia, APA reports.
Pashinyan stated that the tripartite statement should be viewed in its entirety, rather than from a fragmented perspective.
“Due to the comments from our Russian partners that are unrelated to and contrary to the spirit of the three-party statement, regional communications have not yet been opened. Armenia is not sabotaging this issue; on the contrary, we are interested in the opening of communications. This project is called the "Crossroads of Peace.”
