"The problem of emigration has been under discussion since the 1990s and its reasons are often linked to social, economic, and legal issues, but these are just a small part of the real reasons," Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in the parliament, APA reports citing Armenpress.

“The reasons we have so far pointed out, that are accurate and accepted, are just 10-20 percent of the reasons. Let’s admit, after all, that 90% of the reasons for emigration are linked to our regional policies. The first to eleventh reasons for emigration are our conflict relations with our environment,” He stated, referring to relations with Azerbaijan and Türkiye.

Pashinyan also added that “thanks to the policies of his government,” "the challenges facing the state are being partially resolved, although new ones do emerge."
