“Reports by Western media claiming that American financier Jeffrey Epstein had links with Russian intelligence services cannot be taken seriously," said Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
Responding to a question on how the Kremlin could comment on such reports, Peskov said that official Moscow does not take such information seriously.
“One feels more like joking about such news, but let’s not waste our conference call on this,” the Kremlin spokesman for Vladimir Putin emphasized.
Note that the “Epstein files” released by the U.S. Department of Justice repeatedly mention the name of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
