It is difficult to assess the accuracy of reports regarding Iran’s alleged demands to the United States, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.

He noted that Iran’s alleged demands to the US were not discussed during the phone conversation between Vladimir Putin and Masoud Pezeshkian.

The Kremlin spokesman added that Russia maintains constant contact with the Iranian side and Iran’s leadership. He emphasized that Russia is ready to contribute to restoring peace in the Middle East: “As President Putin said, Russia is always ready to do everything possible to restore peace and stability in the region. That is the first point. None of these topics was discussed during yesterday’s phone call. Of course, these days it is difficult to assess the accuracy of this information. Is this accurate information or an information leak? A certain degree of skepticism is always necessary.”

Note that reports have circulated claiming that Iran has demanded guarantees from the United States that war will not resume, full access to the nuclear fuel cycle, and compensation as conditions for resuming negotiations.
