Russia will continue its dialogue with the new Syrian authorities on various issues, including the Russian base in Tartus, the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov said, APA reports citing Pravda.
He reminded that the Russian delegation had held contacts with the new Syrian authorities some time ago: "Our delegation recently held talks in Damascus. It was agreed to continue contacts on all issues. There are many issues to be discussed. We will continue the dialogue on all topics, including the fate of Russia's base in Tartus."
