Putin and Erdoğan did not discuss the S-400 issue in Ashgabat, said Dmitry Peskov, Press Secretary of the President of Russia, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, the situation regarding Türkiye’s possible return of the S-400 missile systems will not harm Russian–Turkish relations.
Note that Bloomberg reported that Türkiye wants to return the S-400 air defense missile system to Russia under pressure from the United States, and that this issue was discussed by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during his meeting with Putin in Ashgabat.
