Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has stated during his speech at a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council held in Kyrgyzstanthat strengthening cooperation with the other members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) remains a foreign policy and economic priority for his country, APA reports.

According to him, this approach will also be reflected in Armenia's new government program.

The Prime Minister noted that Yerevan supports maintaining commitment to the principles on which the EAEU is based. He recalled that one of the organization's fundamental principles is the free movement of goods, services, capital, and labor.

"Unfortunately, these principles are not being fully implemented in practice. Certain restrictions and administrative measures hinder the full functioning of the common market, reduce the predictability of the business environment, and diminish the effectiveness of integration processes," Pashinyan said.
