Armenia has never intended and does not intend to introduce a visa regime with Russia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said, Sputnik Armenia reports.
Pashinyan noted that the Armenian authorities have never had such an intention, adding that they are very pleased to welcome Russian tourists visiting the country.
According to him, Russians are warmly received in Armenia, and they actively promote the country’s tourist attractions.
Note that Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said that the introduction of a visa regime for Russians by Armenia would be a step directed not against Moscow, but against Yerevan itself.
