Today's declaration, signed by me, the President of Azerbaijan, and President Donald Trump, who witnessed this historic event, inspires confidence that we have opened a new chapter of peace, prosperity, security and economic cooperation in the South Caucasus, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said, APA reports.
According to him, the initialing of the peace agreement will create a basis for ending the long-standing conflict, and the opening of transport links in the region, including "TRIPP - the road to peace and prosperity", will bring long-term benefits and open strategic economic opportunities.
Pashinyan noted that peace is emerging between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the issue of deblocking Armenia is being resolved.
