Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan supports Armenia being expelled from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Armenian media reports.
Pashinyan, speaking in parliament, said he would be pleased if this happened.
The Prime Minister noted that Armenia does not intend to intensify its activities within the CSTO over the next five years.
“I know that discussions are underway within the CSTO. By the way, the charter provides for the expulsion of a country from the organization. If the organization decides to expel the Republic of Armenia from the Collective Security Treaty Organization and frees us from the dilemma of whether or not to withdraw, I would be very pleased,” Pashinyan added.
