One of the main topics of the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg was the restoration of railway sections under the concession management of the South Caucasus Railway (SCR) company in Armenia, said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at a briefing today, APA reports, citing Sputnik Armenia.
According to him, this concerns railway lines located in Ijevan, Yeraskh (Arazdayan), and Akhurik, which connect Armenia with Azerbaijan, Nakhchivan, and Türkiye.
Pashinyan emphasized that if any problems arise during the restoration of the railway lines that delay the process, Armenia is ready to carry out the restoration independently at the expense of state funds.
