Armenia does not intend to postpone the implementation of TRIPP, and there is no reason for this, said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his speech at the European Parliament, APA reports.
According to Pashinyan, a relevant agreement between Armenia and the United States will be signed in the near future, after which the practical implementation of the TRIPP project will begin.
The Armenian Prime Minister stated that Yerevan already uses transit routes through Azerbaijan and is ready to ensure transit between Azerbaijan and Türkiye at any time.
He noted that Ankara and Baku have not yet used Yerevan’s reciprocal proposal.
Pashinyan expressed confidence that the intentions of Armenia and Azerbaijan regarding the opening of communication routes are not contradictory and are based on the interests of both sides.
“We live in a tense and volatile region, and if we do not take care of ourselves, these shocks will affect us as well. Conflicts between us put our statehood in a vulnerable position and make us a geopolitically convenient target,” he added.
