As a result of air strikes by the Russian army, six people, including two children, were injured in Ukraine’s Zhytomyr region, APA reports, citing RBC-Ukraine.
According to the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, the region has been subjected to consecutive air attacks for the second day. Last night, several instances of winged missiles and kamikaze drones hitting targets or their debris falling in the region were recorded. During the attack, residential houses, private civilian enterprises, and a store were seriously damaged.
At the same time, in the Sviatoshyn district of the capital Kyiv, the remains of a missile or drone fell near a residential building. The Mayor of Kyiv stated that two people were injured in that district, and emergency services have been deployed to the scene.
In the Kyiv region, the attack caused more severe consequences. In the Vyshhorod district of the region, a fire broke out in a two-story private residential house as a result of the attack. According to Mykola Kalashnyk, Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, an elderly woman lost her life during the incident. Three more people were injured.
