The Russian Armed Forces only target military facilities in Ukraine and do not strike civilian infrastructure, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said in response to allegations from Kyiv regarding an attack on the city of Kryvyi Rih, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
"I suggest referring entirely to the statements from our Ministry of Defense. Our army exclusively strikes military targets and facilities near them. No strikes are carried out on social or civilian infrastructure," Peskov stated, denying Ukraine’s accusations concerning the recent attack on Kryvyi Rih.
It should be noted that on April 4, Ukraine reported that a Russian strike on Kryvyi Rih killed 19 people, including 9 children.
Russia’s Ministry of Defense claimed that its armed forces targeted a location in Kryvyi Rih where Ukrainian commanders and Western instructors were holding a meeting.
