"We consider the ban on Andranik Migranyan's entry into Armenia as an unfriendly step that contradicts the alliance's obligations," the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova said at a briefing today, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
According to her, the Russian Foreign Ministry immediately appealed to Yerevan through diplomatic channels to clarify the issue.
Zakharova noted that Moscow has repeatedly called on official Yerevan to end the ugly practice of denying entry of Russian citizens who, for some reason, do not satisfy the republic's authorities to the country.
The Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman sarcastically stated that the Armenian authorities declare their commitment to democracy and pluralism of ideas: "However, this question should be addressed primarily to the Armenian authorities," Zakharova emphasized.
