Nearly 90 settlements in Dagestan have been left without electricity, APA’s Russia bureau reports, citing the regional department of Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Republic of Dagestan.
It was stated that the power outage left 87 settlements in ten districts of Dagestan without electricity.
Electrical engineers cite short circuits in power lines, network overload, and technical malfunctions as the main causes.
Note that unfavorable weather conditions are prevailing in Dagestan. Heavy snowfall and frosty weather are being observed across the republic.
