Murder of Deputy Defense Minister in Armenia solved after 27 years

The murder of the Deputy Minister of Defense in Armenia has been solved after 27 years, Armenian media outlets reported, citing the Investigative Committee, APA reports.

The Investigative Committee of Armenia announced that the murder of Deputy Minister of Defense Vahram Khorkhoruni in 1998 has been solved, and three people are accused of committing the crime.

According to the investigation, a person named S.A. promised two people 10 and 15 thousand dollars, and together they shot Khorkhoruni at the entrance to the building where he lived on December 10, 1998.

S.A. was detained.

Armenian Telegram channels write that the people accused of killing Vahram Khorkhoruni were servicemen of the so-called "Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army" at the time of the crime.

Khorkhoruni was killed at the entrance to the building where he lived on December 10, 1998. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the fact, and an operational-investigative group has been created from employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Security of Armenia.
