NATO is planning an open military intervention in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at today’s briefing while commenting on NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte’s statement that Western armed forces would appear in Ukraine after a peace agreement, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
Zakharova emphasized that the presence of troops from the “Coalition of the Willing” in Ukraine after a peace deal is absolutely unacceptable for Russia.
“Moscow will view them as legitimate military targets,” the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman added.
