Moscow residents are advised not to use elevators on May 9 between 9:00 and 13:00, APA's Russian bureau reports.
The recommendation is due to a complete communications outage expected to last several hours.
It was noted that residents of high-rise buildings in Moscow could get stuck in elevators for several hours, as malfunction signals will not reach elevator services due to communication issues.
As a reminder, events will be held in Moscow tomorrow, May 9, to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory Day, with the participation of foreign heads of state. Due to the parade on Red Square and events in the Kremlin, mobile communication and internet services in Moscow are expected to be completely cut off temporarily.
