Nearly 250 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles heading toward Moscow have been shot down over the past two days, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
Note that over the past two days, the Ukrainian army has carried out a massive drone attack on Moscow. Aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were reportedly shot down over the territory of the Moscow region by Russian air defense systems.
Due to Ukraine’s drone attack, the operation of Moscow’s airports has been disrupted. The “Carpet plan” was implemented at Sheremetyevo Airport yesterday. Restrictions were also imposed on aircraft landings and takeoffs at other airports.
Amid Kyiv’s large-scale drone attacks, mobile internet has been restricted for more than a week in major Russian cities, including Moscow and St. Petersburg. Mobile internet has been completely disabled in city centers.
