Despite its promises, the US has not yet released the two Russians on board the seized tanker Marinera, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at his annual press conference, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, although an agreement was reached with the US on the release of Russian citizens, Washington has not yet released the Russians.
Lavrov stressed that he hopes that the US side will fulfill its promises.
Lavrov also said that the US is currently not willing to discuss the normalization of embassy operations with Russia, including diplomatic property.
He added that Moscow has included the restoration of direct air communication in the negotiations with Washington.
However, Lavrov noted that the US is the only country that has offered Russia a real settlement in Ukraine.
He recalled that Moscow accepted these proposals at the Anchorage summit and hopes that these approaches will remain valid.
Lavrov added that Russia has still not received documents on the results of US negotiations with Ukraine and Europe over the past few weeks.
