Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev have signed a document approving the key principles of cooperation on the project related to the construction of a nuclear power plant (NPP), RT reports.
In addition, the leaders of the two countries signed a declaration elevating Russia-Kazakhstan relations to the level of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance.
Note that Kazakhstan plans to complete the construction of the plant in cooperation with Rosatom in 2035–2036 using a loan to be allocated by Russia.
