"People like Ararat Mirzoyan lead Armenia to a dead end," the Spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova said during today's briefing while commenting on the Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan's statement "Russia and Armenia speak different languages" in an interview with Argentine media, APA reports.

“True, I want to mock. But, it seems to me, it’s not worth doing this. Not because I couldn’t play on the phrase about languages. I could. But because such people are driving Armenia into a dead end,” she noted.

Zakharova noted that Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, when asked about the possibility of severing diplomatic relations with Russia, replied that he could not predict the future.

“It’s strange. Usually, politicians in power don’t just predict the future, they create it,” Zakharova pointed out. “They can predict trends and say that they will do everything so that, for example, a negative scenario does not come true. It’s unfortunate.” to hear what he said, especially given the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries being celebrated today."
