Meeting between Russian, Iranian Presidents kicks off

A meeting between Russian and Iranian Presidents Vladimir Putin and Massoud Pezeshkian, has begun, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.

The limited-format meeting between the heads of state is being held in the Kremlin.

Speaking at the protocol part of the meeting, Vladimir Putin said that today's visit of the Iranian President to Russia is of special significance: "It will be an opportunity to discuss all areas of our cooperation. We will sign an Agreement on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. We have been working on this document for a long time. I am very glad that we have completed it. I am sure that this document will have a positive impact on our trade and economic relations."

The Russian President underlined that they will continue cooperation with Iran in the field of atomic energy.
