The Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, Alen Simonyan, will pay an official visit to the Russian Federation, Simonyan said at a briefing held in the parliament, APA reports, citing Sputnik Armenia.

“The date has not yet been determined, but there is an invitation from Valentina Matviyenko, the speaker of the Duma, for a return visit,” he said.

According to the information, during the visit, it is expected that interparliamentary cooperation between the two countries will be strengthened, and existing political and economic issues will be discussed.
