A mass poisoning incident has taken place at a children's camp in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia, APA reports, citing the Mash Telegram channel.
The incident occurred in the Sterlibashevsky district of the republic. A total of 25 people were hospitalized, 22 of whom are children. Nine of the victims were discharged home shortly after, while the others are still under medical supervision.
No information was provided about the cause of the poisoning. The incident is being investigated by the prosecutor's office.
Earlier, a mass poisoning incident occurred at another children's camp in the Chelyabinsk region. 22 children who felt unwell sought medical attention, and one of them was hospitalized.
